Versions of  Tapered Roller Bearings

Inch & Metric Single Row
Single-row tapered roller bearings are the most basic and widely used, consisting of a cone assembly and a cup.
Inch & Metric Double row
​Double- or two-row tapered roller bearings feature double cups and two single cones. They are available in a variety of configurations for general industrial and automotive applications.
Four Row
Four-row tapered roller bearings combine the inherent high-load radial/thrust capacity and direct/indirect mounting variables of tapered roller bearings into assemblies offering maximum load rating in minimum space.

Tapered roller bearings consist of four basic components including: the cone (inner ring), the cup (outer ring), tapered rollers, and a cage (roller retainer). The cone, cup and rollers carry the load while the cage spaces and retains the rollers on the cone. The cone, rollers and cage components of our tapered roller bearings are referred to as the cone assembly. Individual cup and cone components of our tapered roller bearings are available as well as the complete assembly. In addition, FIJ offers a variety of configurations to our tapered roller bearings such as single-row, double-row and four-row.

Material description of tapered roller bearings

Tapered roller bearings made of rolling bearing steel
are economical, withstand extremely high load-ratings and are suitable for temperatures from circa -20°C up to +120°C, in case of plastic seals up to +100°C. The rolling bearing steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.
