Housing Design

Split pillow block (SNL2, SNL5): Ideal for very high loads. Split. For the application of spherical ball bearings or spherical roller bearings. Seal exchangeable, standard seal included. Sets with housings of type SNL5 each consist of a bearing insert with a conical inner ring and an adapter sleeve for shaft fixing.

Bearing housings

FIJ housings and the associated bearings form bearing units that have proven successful in machinery, plant and equipment. FIJ bearing housings are predominantly made from cast iron. We can supply housings made from cast steel or spheroidal graphite cast iron by agreement.

Material description of the split pillow block housing sets

Sets with split grey cast iron housing and bearing insert made of rolling bearing steel: are extremely cost-effective, suitable for extremely high loads and temperatures from -10 to +120 °C. All sets with self-aligning ball bearing inserts with plastic cages (TN) can be used permanently up to approx. +70 °C.
